Parks & Recreation

For years, the Town of Elizabethtown has provided safe, recreational facilities and programs for the young and the young at heart.  It is our goal to encourage fun, promote fellowship, improve wellness, and foster educational experiences while providing opportunities for personal growth and community interaction.

To this end, the Town provides seven (8) parks for the community's enjoyment:

Browns Creek Nature Trail and Mountain Bike Park
Browns Landing (Lock & Dam #2)
Greene's Lake Conservation Park
Johnson Park
Leinwand Park
Lloyd Park
Martin Luther King, Jr. Park
Tory Hole Park ( this park is closed temporarily)

In order to reserve park facilities for events such as birthday parties, family reunions, weddings, or cookouts, an application and a small fee are required.

Please click on the link to the right for current forms and rental rates.  To make reservations, bring the forms to Town Hall at 805 West Broad Street or call us at (910) 862-2066.

We hope that you will find our parks to be clean, safe, and, as always, fun.  Come see why Elizabethtown is a "Great Place to Visit and a Better Place to Live".
