Public Notice: TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Proposed Zoning Map Amendment, Town of Elizabethtown, North Carolina.  Pursuant to NCGS 160A-364, 385 and 386, the Town of Elizabethtown will conduct a public hearing on December 8, 2025 (Rescheduled Town Council Meeting) at 7:00 p.m. in the Elizabethtown Municipal Building.  Town Council will consider the following: Rezoning Request Petitioner: Bladen’s Bloomin’ Agri-Industrial   Case Number:  RZ-11-2025-01 PIN #: 132100038915 – Parcel #: 50336 Request: Rezone from Bypass Commercial (B-C) to Light Industrial (L-I)   All interested citizens are invited to attend the meeting.  Citizens desiring to speak on the rezoning request must sign-in to speak prior to the beginning of the 7:00 p.m. meeting.   Those who wish to view a copy of the rezoning application may do so by contacting the Planning Department during regular business hours at (910) 862-2066, Ext. 2014.

 PUBLIC HEARING: Community Development Block Grant to Purchase a Building.

The Town of Elizabethtown Town Council will be conducting two public hearings for the purpose of receiving public input for the Town of Elizabethtown’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application being submitted to secure funding for the purchase of Incubator #5, 518 Ben Greene Industrial Park Road, Elizabethtown, NC.   

The first of the two Public Hearings will be conducted on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 12:00 noon Council Work Session.

The second of the two Public Hearings will be conducted Monday, August 5, 2024 at 7pm during the Council Meeting.

PUBLIC HEARINGS: Community Development Block Grant to construct a manufacturing facility.

The Town of Elizabethtown Town Council will be conducting the first of two Public Hearings on August 5, 2024, at 12:00 o’clock Noon for the purpose of receiving public input for Town of Elizabethtown’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application being submitted to secure funding for the construction of a manufacturing facility for Vulcanair to be located at the Elizabethtown Industrial Park.  

The first of the two Public Hearings will be conducted Monday, August 5, 2024 at 12:00 noon Council Work Session.

The second of the two Public Hearings will be conducted on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 7 pm during the Council Meeting.

PUBLIC HEARINGS LOCATION: All Public Hearings will be conducted in the Elizabethtown Municipal Building at 805 W. Broad Street, Elizabethtown, NC.  Members of the public desiring to speak at this Public Hearing will be required to place their name on the sign-in sheet prior to the opening of the meeting
