Public Notice: TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN PUBLIC NOTICE   The regular March 2026 Town Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026.   There will be a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings take place in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building located at 805 W. Broad Street.

State of Emergency In Effect –  Town Of Elizabethtown 

News Release January 30-2026 

 

The Town of Elizabethtown has declared a State of Emergency effective January 30th,  2026 at 5 PM due to winter weather conditions.   This declaration helps the Town coordinate resources and respond as needed to changing conditions.  Residents are encouraged to use caution when traveling and stay aware of local conditions.   Town staff and public safety officials are monitoring the situation and will provide updates  as needed.  The State of Emergency will remain in place until rescinded.
