Public Notice: State of Emergency In Effect -  Town Of Elizabethtown  News Release January 30-2026    The Town of Elizabethtown has declared a State of Emergency effective January 30th,  2026 at 5 PM due to winter weather conditions.   This declaration helps the Town coordinate resources and respond as needed to changing conditions.  Residents are encouraged to use caution when traveling and stay aware of local conditions.   Town staff and public safety officials are monitoring the situation and will provide updates  as needed.  The State of Emergency will remain in place until rescinded.

ELIZABETHTOWN AIRPORT/ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to requirements of the NCGS Chapter 159-12, the Elizabethtown Airport/Economic Development Commission has submitted a proposed budget for FY 2021-22.  A copy has been filed with the Town Clerk for public inspection. The proposed budget may be inspected by calling the Town office (862-2066) to make an appointment for review. A public hearing will be conducted at the rescheduled June 29, 2021, meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the Mac Campbell Sr. Terminal Building, 466 Airport Road, Elizabethtown, NC.
