Rezoning Request, Town of Elizabethtown, North Carolina.  Pursuant to NCGS 160D-601(a), the Town of Elizabethtown will conduct a public meeting on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Elizabethtown Municipal Building. The Planning Board will consider the following property rezoning request:

SUMMARY:

 

Bladen’s Bloomin Agri-Industrial, Inc., applicant, is requesting to rezone property located at 349 Aviation Parkway from Heavy Industrial (HI) to Office-Institutional (OI). The applicant is requesting to permit small child daycare services which are not currently approved under the current (HI) zoning classification. The property is requested to be rezoned to (OI) to ensure compliance with the permitted uses specified in SECTION 6.6, TABLE OF USES AND ACTIVITIES of the Town Ordinance. 

 

ACTION REQUESTED:
