Office Closings: N O T I C E In observance of New Year’s, the Town offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Offices will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026. During the New Year holiday, the Trash/Recycling Collection Schedule will be delayed one day.
NCDOT plans to close US 701 bridge from 9AM – 10AM and 2PM – 3PM on weekdays (Mon. – Fri.) in May. The Town Staff, Fire Department and Police Department are working with DOT to make these closures run smoothly. Please consider planning trips across the bridge accordingly.
