Public Notice: TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN PUBLIC NOTICE Amended 9/9/26 The regular September Town Council meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026 in the Elizabethtown Town Hall, 805 W. Broad Street. There will be a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. Meetings take place in the Council Chamber. There will not be a 6 p.m. Planning Board meeting. NCDOT plans to close US 701 bridge from 9AM – 10AM and 2PM – 3PM on weekdays (Mon. – Fri.) in May. The Town Staff, Fire Department and Police Department are working with DOT to make these closures run smoothly. Please consider planning trips across the bridge accordingly.
