PUBLIC NOTICE: The Elizabethtown Town Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 5, 2024 in the Elizabethtown Town Hall, 805 W. Broad Street.  There is a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings take place in the Council Chamber.

Town of Elizabethtown Notice of Public Hearing

Proposed Text Amendment Request, Town of Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Pursuant to N.C. G.S. 160A-364. 385 and 386, the Town of Elizabethtown will conduct a public hearing on Monday July 11, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Elizabethtown Municipal Building.  Town Council will consider the following: Text Amendment Request Petitioner:  Town of Elizabethtown Request: Staff recommends various changes to the Zoning Code Table 6.6 for allowable uses within R-10, R15, R20, R40 districts relating to manufactured homes.  All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing and present comments on the above petition.  Citizens desiring to speak are required to place their name on the sign-up sheet before the agenda adoption.  Changes may be made in the advertised proposal that reflect information presented at the hearing.  Those who choose to view a copy of the text amendment application may do so during regular business hours at the Elizabethtown Town Hall located at 805 West Broad Street in Elizabethtown NC.  Following the Public Hearing for the Text Amendment on July 11, 2022.
