Public Notice: State of Emergency In Effect -  Town Of Elizabethtown  News Release January 30-2026    The Town of Elizabethtown has declared a State of Emergency effective January 30th,  2026 at 5 PM due to winter weather conditions.   This declaration helps the Town coordinate resources and respond as needed to changing conditions.  Residents are encouraged to use caution when traveling and stay aware of local conditions.   Town staff and public safety officials are monitoring the situation and will provide updates  as needed.  The State of Emergency will remain in place until rescinded.

TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN RESIDENTS

Please do not place sticks, limbs and/or yard debris in the 90-Gallon Garbage cart or the Recycling cart serviced each week by the Town’s private contractor.  Residents are to leave yard debris items by the curbside for weekly pickup by the Town of Elizabethtown Grapple Truck crew.
