Public Notice: The November 2025 Town Council meeting date is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025.   There will be a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings take place in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building located at 805 W. Broad Street.

Town of Elizabethtown seeking RFQ for Design-Build services for construction of aircraft manufacturing

The Town of Elizabethton is issuing a Request For Qualifications (“RFQ”) for Design-Build services for the Construction of Aircraft Manufacturing in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. The submission deadline is September 30, 2024.

Introduction
Per NCGS 143-64.31, Elizabethtown, North Carolina seeks written proposals for qualified Construction Firms licensed in North Carolina, for the construction of a Manufacturing facility located on Ben Greene Extension, Elizabethtown NC 28337.

Project Description
The selected firm will work as Design/Build Contractor with the Town of Elizabethtown to construct the Project as well as prepare site work, construct building, landscaping, parking lot, and sidewalks. It will be located at the Airport Corporate Park on Ben Greene Extension, Elizabethtown, North Carolina.
