PUBLIC NOTICE: Special Called Meeting on Oct. 24: This is notice to the public that the Elizabethtown Town Council will conduct a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 12 o’clock Noon at the Elizabethtown Municipal Building, 805 W. Broad Street. The purpose of the meeting will be for Closed Session in accordance with NCGS 143-318.11(a)(3) – Attorney-Client Privilege.
The Bladen County Forestry Service has issued the following statement, due to hazardous forest fire conditions a ban on open burning has been put in place effective November 29th at 5:00pm and shall remain in effect until further notice.
