Broad Street.  There will be a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings take place in the Council Chamber. TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Town of Elizabethtown proposes to approve an appropriation or expenditure in the form of an incentive agreement for economic development pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 158-7.1.  The Town Council intends, subject to public comment at the public hearing for which notice is hereby given, to approve agreement with Vectortex (USA), LLC for new capital investment and improvement of privately owned property.  The Town Council has determined that this agreement will increase taxable property, employment, industrial output, and business prospects of the city.

The Elizabethtown Town Council will hold a public hearing on the city’s proposed approval at 7:00 p.m. on May 26, 2026 in the Elizabethtown Municipal Building, 805 W. Broad Street, Elizabethtown, N.C.  28337.  The Council invites all interested persons to attend and present their views.
