Public Notice: TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN PUBLIC NOTICE Amended 9/9/26   The regular September Town Council meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026 in the Elizabethtown Town Hall, 805 W. Broad Street.  There will be a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings take place in the Council Chamber. This is notice to the public that the Elizabethtown Town Council will be conducting a Special Called Meeting on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at the Elizabethtown Municipal Building, 805 West Broad Street.  There will be no Noon meeting. The purposes of the Special Called Meeting are:  Recognition of Ms. Beverly Robinson on her retirement of 25 years and Recognition of Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy Cadets on their 2026 Championship Win, Public Hearing for a Rezone Request from Bladen’s Bloomin’, Public Hearing for FY 26-27 Proposed Budget, FY 26-27 Budget Ordinance, Resolution Naming the Airport Terminal Building Classroom to honor the Memory of Mr. Frederick M. Tate, Proposal for Governmental Affairs Consulting and Legislative Lobbying Services – Electus, Final Budget Amendment – FY 25-26, Hangar Lease Agreement – MedTrans, Award of Proposal for Worker’s Compensation Coverage for FY 2026-2027, Fuel Supply Agreement with Campbell Oil Company, Consideration of Major Site Plan Review for Incubator #8, Closed Session (Attorney-Client Purpose) and Consideration of Hangar Lease Agreement.
