Public Notice: TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN PUBLIC NOTICE Amended 9/9/26   The regular September Town Council meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026 in the Elizabethtown Town Hall, 805 W. Broad Street.  There will be a Noon Work Session, and the evening meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings take place in the Council Chamber. Important News about Trash Service

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT TRASH SERVICE
The Town of Elizabethtown is aware of areas not serviced for trash collection and are working on the issue. Our contracted collection company has experienced a driver shortage due to illness amongst their ranks and is currently servicing missed areas today and tomorrow.
 
As a reminder for the holiday week, Thursday’s collection will be serviced on Friday and Friday’s collection will be serviced on Saturday. We apologize for the inconvenience and wish everyone a happy holiday. Town of Elizabethtown, NC
